160 <br /> May 6,1992 <br /> C <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to <br /> order at B.30 an.,May 6, 1992,in the City Council chamber of <br /> the Everett City Hall, President Gipson presiding. Upon roll <br /> call it was found that Mayor Kinch and all councilmen were <br /> present. <br /> Councilman Anderson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the April 29, 1992, City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. <br /> PROCLAMATIONS <br /> Mayor Kinch made the following proclamations. <br /> May 7,1992-"National Day.of Prayer" <br /> Week", eeatlCnai Drinking eater and C"Senior <br /> Center Week" <br /> C <br /> DELAYED AGENDA ITEM <br /> Mayor Kinch explained that agenda item No. 10, Monte Cristo <br /> Hotel Resolution, would be delayed as council concerns are <br /> being addressed. He requested that it be put on next week's <br /> agenda, as time is of the essence. The Everett Housing <br /> Authority will being voting on this Thursday contingent on <br /> Council's approval. President Gipson announced that two <br /> councilmembers would be excused next week and therefore they <br /> would have to discuss when It could be scheduled. <br /> OATHS OF OFFICE <br /> Police chief Pastor introduced David Osman, police office:, <br /> who was sworn in by the Deputy City Clerk. <br /> TOgeBottt,"=4 aou7sO'rM,Cgra'grgalrihg=7'!Itt:::; <br /> sworn in. <br /> MAYOR'S COMMENTS <br /> The Everett Classic Bicycle Race, a national amateur bicycle <br /> race, will be held in Everett May 23rd.
