175 <br /> Nay 20,1992 <br /> CThe regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to <br /> order at 7:00 p.m., May 20, 1992, in the City Council Chamber <br /> of the Everett City Hell, President Gipson presiding. Upon <br /> roll call it was found that Mayor Kinch and all councilmen were <br /> present. <br /> Councilman Moser led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the May 13, 1992, City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. <br /> EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH <br /> Naybr KS mp presented Vic h newel. pf Computer Services with <br /> the May Employee oP the Nonth Awaxd. <br /> NEIGHBORHOOD AWARD <br /> Mayor Kinch and Councilman Anderson presented Outstanding <br /> Neighborhood Project award to Drew Nielsen of the Northwest <br /> Everett Neighborhood and Everett General Hospital for the <br /> neighborhood park development project. <br /> CMAYOR'S COMMENTS <br /> Mayor Kinch announced that it was Matt Johnson Day in the City <br /> of Everett. Mr. Johnson is a nationally recognized bicyclist <br /> from Brier who will be participating In the Everett Classic <br /> Bike Race on Saturday. <br /> MONTE CRISTO RESOLUTION <br /> Mayor Kinch explained that he had another commitment and It <br /> would be necessary for him to leave at 7:45 p.m. He presented <br /> solution for Council's c neideration under item t6 of <br /> the new resolution <br /> He stated that due to unrealistic time restraints <br /> due to the federal tax credits andthe underwriter's rate <br /> disclosure it isa c ssary to take more <br /> mo comprehensive <br /> financial look at theMonte Crista project. He asked that <br /> Council extend their moral support through the adoption of the <br /> resolution. <br /> C <br />
