They were Larry bresler,Bruce <br /> Henshaw and Ken Fletcher. <br /> BRIEFING-SEATTLE REQUEST FOR WATER <br /> Mayor Kinch told councilmembers that he had receiVed a request <br /> from Seattle Mayor Norm Rice for /0,000,000 gallons of water <br /> per day as Seattle is facing a water shortage due to the low <br /> snow pack this past winter. He further explained that staff <br /> has spent time evaluating this consideration and felt the <br /> request could be filled; however, there are some considerations <br /> that need to be addressed. Not only the City of Everett but <br /> the POD is also affected and must agree to this sale of water. <br /> The primary concern is that the needs of the people of the <br /> Everett area continue to be met.
