May 3,2000 <br /> The regular mating of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> m.,May 3.2000,in the City Council Clambers of the Everea City Hall, <br /> President Campbell presiding.Upon roll call it was found the.Mayor Hansen <br /> and Coumilmembers Anderson.Simpson,Warnock,Gipson.Campbell,and <br /> Pope were present Couailmember Overstreet was excused. <br /> Councilmemba Anderson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the April 26,2000 City Council mating were approved as <br /> printed.Cauvcimember Warnock abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> Mayos Hansen proclaimed May,2000 as"Older Americans'Month"and May <br /> 15-19,2000 as"Senior Center Week." <br /> Howard Shehi,a volunteer at the Everett Senior Center for 18 years,accepted <br /> the proclamation and sated that it was a privilege and an honor. <br /> APPOINTMENTS <br /> Mayor Hamm requested the City Council's cmc regarding the <br /> appointments of Lyle Ryan and Carol Lorimer Loup to the Pluming <br /> Commission. <br /> Mored by Councilmember Anderson,sanded by Coanrihnember Simpson <br /> to concur with the following appointments: <br /> Lyle Ryan to Positron 85,Planning Commission,for a six year term, <br /> through December 31,2005. <br /> Carol Lorlous Loup to the alternate position,Planning Commission, <br /> fora see year term,through December 31,2005. <br />
