September 25,2002 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> sett.September 25.2002 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett <br /> City Hall.Vice President Campbell presiding.Upon roll call 0 was found <br /> that Mayor Anderson;Council Members Olson,Gipson.Campbell,Pope <br /> and Overstreet were present. Council Members Krell and Hatloe were <br /> excused. <br /> Council Member Olson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the September 18,2002 City Council meeting were <br /> approved as primed.Council Member Gipson abstained from the vote. <br /> RESOLUTION—JIM IANGUS <br /> Council Member Pope introduced a resolution recognizing the dedication <br /> and accomplishments of Jim Longus. <br /> Moved by Council Member Pope,s onded by Council Member <br /> Olson to adopt Resolution No.5244 recognizing the dedication and <br /> accomplishments of Jim Langus in 18 years of public service as the <br /> top nonelected manager in the City of Everett. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Members Hadoe and Krell who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Anderson thanked Jim Lenges for his help during the mayoral <br /> transition period. <br />• <br /> 318 <br />
