March 14,2003 <br /> A special meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> am.,March 14.2003.in the City Council Chamber of the Everett City <br /> Hall,Vice President Campbell presiding.Upon roll call It was found that <br /> Mayor Anderson;Council Members Krell.Olson,Gipson,Campbell, <br /> Overstreet.and Pope ware present.President Hattic wee excused. <br /> Council Member Krell led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the March 5,2003 City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> REPORT <br /> Mayor Anderson gave a report regarding his attendance at the National <br /> League of Cities conference in Washington D.C. <br /> He also reported that he talked to legislators1 <br /> Radar Structure beingregardingthe vers Test Band <br /> questions have not ben answeredefor Navalthis Station EvIt is i Many <br /> for theregarding Hproject.It Is important <br /> city m pud c the protean. He will be initiating public <br /> listening forams so that public ooncems can be brought forth. <br /> COU CIL <br /> Council Members Krell,Overstreet.Olson,Pope and Campbell also <br /> attended the National League of Cities conference and gave their reports. <br /> Council Member Gipson Indicated he would give his report next week. <br /> Council Member Krell,as liaison to the Parks Board,read into the record <br /> a letter to Ms.Julia Elliott,U.S.Army Space and Missile Defense <br /> Command,from the Everett Parks and Recreation Board of Commission <br /> regarding the SBX project requesting that Everett's Port Gardner Bay not <br /> be considered for this project.
