June 2,2004 <br />• <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> m.,June 2,2004 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall, <br /> President Hatloe presiding. Upon mil call It was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson;Council Members Krell,Olson,Magee,Gipson,Stonecipher <br /> and Overstreet were present.Council Member Campbell was excused. <br /> Council Member Gipson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the May 26,2004 City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephenson reported that he was pleased to participate in the <br /> Memorial Day Service at Evergreen Cemetery. <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> Mayor Stephenson proclaimed June 2,2004 as the kick-off date of the <br /> "For Our Kids—Tobacco FreParks''ern the <br /> City <br /> Everett. <br /> He Cheryl <br /> the proclamation to CandyKreger, citizen, and <br /> Combest.Snohomish Health District. <br /> SILVERTIPS RECOGNIZED <br /> President Hatloe and Mayor Stephenson presented a plaque to Doug <br /> Seethed,General Manager of the Everett Silvertips,on behalf of the city <br /> recognizing the accomplishments of the Everett Silvertips during their first <br /> hockey season. <br /> COUN IL <br /> Council Member Olson reported that he and Mayor Stephanion attended <br /> the inaugural meeting of the Evergreen Neighborhood Association. <br /> 175 <br />
