July 28,2004 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 8:30 a.m.,July 28,2004,In the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,President Hagoe presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson;Council Members Krell,Olson.Hetice,Gipson,Campbell. <br /> Stonecipher.and Overstreet were present. <br /> Council Member Overstreet led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the July 21,2004 City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> Mayor Stephenson proclaimed August 3,2004 as"National Night Out <br /> Against Crime." <br /> OATH—DEPUTY POLICE CHIEF <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Overstreet to concur with the appointment of James R.Seaman as <br /> Deputy Police Chief. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carded. <br /> The Deputy City Cleric administered his oath of office and Mayor <br /> Stephenson presented him with his badge. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Gipson slated that he distributed packets of information <br /> regarding the banking services request for proposals to the council <br /> 238 <br />
