July 6,2005 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 <br /> a.m.,July 6,2005 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall, <br /> President Krell presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson and Council Members Krell,Olson,Gipson,Nielsen,and <br /> Overstreet were present.Council Members Hatloe and Stonecipher were <br /> excused. <br /> City Attorney Iles led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the June 29,2005 Everett City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephenson requested the city counoifs concurrence regarding the <br /> appointment of Shannon Molter to the Board of Adjustment. <br /> APPOINTMENT—BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> Moved by Council Member Olsen,seconded by Council Member <br /> Overstreet to concur with the appointment of Shannon Affholter to <br /> Position No.1,Board of Adjustment,to fill an unexpired six.yeer <br /> term,beginning July 6,2005 and ending December 31,2007. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Members Hatice and Stonecipher who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> REPORT—BASE CLOSURE PROCESS <br /> Pat McClain,Governmental Affairs,reported that Naval Station Everett <br /> has continued to stay off the base closure list.The city eel continue to <br /> work diligently with regard to this issue. <br /> 199 <br />
