July 23,2008 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> m.,July 23,2008,in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall. <br /> President Nielsen presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephanson;Council Members Olson,Gipson,Nielsen,Stonecipher and <br /> Affholter were present. Council Members Roberts and Hance were <br /> excused. <br /> Council Member Molter led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the July t6,2008 City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> APPOINTMENT—TREE COMMITTEE <br /> Mayor Stephenson asked for the city council's concurrence regarding the <br /> appointment of C.K.Eidem to the Tree Committee. <br /> Moved by Council Member Stonecipher,seconded by Council <br /> Member Gipson to concur with the appointment of C.K.Eidem to <br /> Position No.t,Tree Committee,fora six-year term ending December <br /> 31,2013. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Members Roberts and Hagce who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attomey Iles requested an executive session regarding four litigation <br /> matters.The session Is expected to last approximately 45 minutes with <br /> an announcement to follow. <br /> 227 <br />
