David stated that our current <br /> processes are complaint driven and do not allow the time necessary to do <br /> inspections rental properties and that the Fire Department does not <br /> have the authority to enter private residences without a warrant. He <br /> updated the council on the proposed ordinance concerning residential <br /> rental properties and stated that it is scheduled to be on the September 0, <br /> 2000 council agenda. <br /> 220 <br />
