- • I., A - .r ORDINANCENo. 3004. kl\T ORDINAI-CE regul, ting and establishing: taxicab stands in parking meter zones in the City of Everett as pro- vided in Ordinance No. 2951 of the City of Everett ; providing for the issuance of licenses therefor ; fixing the fees therefor ; providing penalties for the violation of this Ordinance, end declaring an emergency. THE CITY CF EVERETT DO__S ORDAIN: section 1: That any person , firm or corporation hating a license duly issued by the City of Everett for the operation of a taxicab within the City of Everett may be licensed by the City Council of the City of Everett to main- tain and operate a taxicab stand within the parking meter zone of the City of Everett , es established by Ordinance No. 2951 of the City of Everett ES herein provided. Any person, firm or corporation duly licensed to operate a taxicab or taxicabs within the City of -verett desiring to operate and establish a taxicab stand within said perking meter zone shall make application for such license to the City Clerk of the City of Everett on a form provided by ;paid City Clerk and at said time shell pay to the City Treasurer of the City of Everett the fees for such taxicab stand . Section 2 : The annual license fees for such taxi- cab stand shall be the sum of One Hundred Dollars ( .00 .00 ) per year for each parking meter occupied by said taxicab stand; P=OVIDED, for the balance of the year 1944 the license fee for each parking meter space occupied by such taxicab stand shall be Seventy-five Dollars ( 75.00 ) ; AND PROVIDED FURTHER that any license is sued for any taxicab stand after 3Tul.y 31st of each year the license fee shall be Fifty Dollars ( ,50 .00 ) for each parking meter space occupied by such taxicab stand. A11 licenses issued uner the provisions of this ordinance sell expire on the 31st day of December of each year. The nur_;er of parking meter spaces issued to any owner of a taxicab license shall not exceed one parking meter space for each taxicab license held. Section 3: -he owner of any license for such taxicab stand shall not be required to pay any additional fees for using said parking meter space . Section 4: The City Council of the City of Everett , upon application end payment of said license fees as herein provided, is authorized to issue a license or licenees for such taxicab stand or stands .
