ORDINANCE NO. 2433 An Ordinance proposing to the voters of the City of Ever- ett that the City of Everett make additions, betterments and ex- tensions to its present water supply system by the construction of a diversion dam and intake on the Sultan River in ABOMMMSMay Township 29, North Range 8, E. W. .., also a pipe line and tunnel from said intake to Lake Chaplain, also a dam, spillway and con- trol works for storage of water in Lake Chaplain, also a pipe line from Lake Chaplain to a connection with the existing water system of the City of Everett, also all necessary valves, blow- offs, tunnels, bridges and other structures and appurtenances necessary for the construction, control, maintenance and operation of said pipe line , also such improvements to the existing water system in Everett as are necessary to make the water from this sourge available for domestic and industrial water supply; to acquire by purchase and/or condemnation, or otherwise, lands, water, wa- ter rights, easements, rights-of-way, privileges, franchises and property necessary or convenient for the proper construction, core trol, maintenance and operation of said proposed additional water supply system; declaring the estimated cost thereof, as nearly as may be;providing for the payment thereof by the issuance and sale of General Negotiable Serial Coupon Bonds in the sum of $ a$ . _ , to be paid out of a sinking fund to be created as provided by statute, and by the issuance of Special Water Revenue Fund Bonds in the sum of $ /Z payable out of revenues of the water system only and out of a spe- cial fund herein established;providing for the holding of an elec- tion at which the qualified voters of the City of Everett may vote for or against said propositions, and declaring an emergency.
