ORDINANCE NO. 2279 <br /> An Ordinance defining the limits of the territory and prop- <br /> erty over which the City of Everett hereby declares its exercise <br /> of jurisdiction for its municipal water supply system, providing <br /> for the protection of said water supply from pollution, providing <br /> penalties for the violation of the provisions of this Ordinance <br /> and declaring an emergency. <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: Pursuant to Section 70, Sub-Division (i) of the <br /> Rules and Regulations of the State Board of Health of the State of <br /> Washington, the City of Everett hereby defines the limits of the <br /> territory and property over which it hereby declares its juris- <br /> diction, for the purposes of its municipal water supply water-shed, <br /> to be as follows: <br /> Beginning at the southwest corner of Section 31, <br /> Township 29 North, Range 8 East, 'I.M. , <br /> Hence in an easterly direction, following the <br /> Seventh Standard Parallel N. , to the summit of the <br /> divide between Lake Chaplain and the Habecker <br /> Creek, which summit is the true point of beginning; <br /> Hence easterly from the true point of beginning, <br /> following the Seventh Standard Parallel N. , to the <br /> summit of the divide between Olney Creek and the <br /> Sultan River; <br /> Hence northeasterly following the summit around <br /> the head of Olney Creek to the summit between Olney <br /> Creek and the South Fork of the Sultan River. <br /> Hence southeasterly following the summit of the <br /> divide between the South Fork of the Sultan River <br /> and Olney Creek to Prospect Peak; <br /> Hence in an easterly direction following the <br /> summit of the divide between Wallace River and the <br /> South Fork of the Sultan River to the summit of <br /> Mount Stickney; <br /> Hence northerly to the summit of the Crested Buttes; <br /> Hence northerly to the summit of Sheep Gap Mountain; <br /> Hence northerly, following the summit of the divide <br /> between Weeden Creek and the Sultan River to the <br /> summit of Flag Peak; <br /> Hence northerly, following the ridges to Headlee <br /> Pass, Sperry Peak, Big Four Mountain, and Halls Peak; <br /> Hence to Marble Pass, to Marble Peak; <br /> Hence in a southerly direction, following the divide <br /> between Williamson Creek and Blackjack Creek, and <br /> Mallardy Creek and Boardman Creek to the summit of <br /> Bald Mountain; <br /> -1- <br />
