40 • ORDINANCE NO. 2262 An Ordinance providing for the improvement of the alley between Oakes and Lombard Avenues, from 19th Street to 18th Street and 18th Street from the alley east of Oakes to Oakes Ave., by replacing the present 6" sewer with a larger sewer pipe, and its necessary appurtenances, and doing all other work to make a complete improvement, all in accordance with Resolution No. 3238 of the City of Everett; creating an assessment district; creating a Local Im- provement District Fund therefor; providing that said improvement be made by special assessment upon the property in said district un- der the mode of payment by bonds. WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 3238 of the city of Everett, the City Council of Everett has declared its intention to order the improvement as above outlined and doing all other work neces- sary in connection therewith to make a complete improvement in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the City En- gineer; now, therefore THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That the alley between Oakes and .Lombard Ave- nues, from 19th to 18th, and 18th Street from the alley east of Oakes to Oakes Avenue, be improved by replacing the present 6" sewer with a larger sewer pipe, and its necessary appurtenances, and doing all other work on the entire district necessary to make a complete improvement according to the plans and specifications prepared under the directions of the City Lngineer, which plans and specifications are hereby adopted and approved. Section 2: That the cost and expense of such improvement, including all necessary incidental expenses, shall be borne b . and as- sessed against the property included in the enlarged assessment district herein created in accordance with law.
