ORDINANCE CE NO. ,.2112 • An Ordinance providing for the improvement of 1 State Street from the south property line of 2Oth Street to the 2 north property line of 21st Street, by clearing, grubbing, 3 removal of old lumber, grading to proper grade, construction of 4 6 ft. concrete sidewalks on curb line, construction of concrete 5 curbs and gutters, and slagging 15 foot strip along center line 6 of street, installation of necessary drainage, making necessary 7 water main changes and doing all other work necessary to make a 8 complete improvement, creating an assessment district, creating 9 € a Local Improvement District fund therefor, providing that 10 I payment for said improvement be made by special assessment on 11 the property in said district under the mode of payment by bonds, 12 W hereas, a majority petition of the property 13 owners petitioning for said improvement has heretofore been filed 14 with the Commissioner of Public Works and the said Commissioner of 15 Public Works has found the things set forth in said petition to 16 be true, and, 17 Whereas, said Commissioner of Public Works has 18 I filed with the City Council all data and information as required • 19 by law, and, 20 Whereas, said Commissioner of Public Works has 21 recommended to the City Council that said improvement petitioned 22 for be made and it appearing to the City Council that public 23 convenience and necessity requires such improvement to be made, 24 now therefore, 25 THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES CRDAIN 26 Section 1 : That State Street from the sou th 27 property line of 2Oth Street to the north property line of 21st 28 Street, be improved by clearing, grubbing, removal of old 29 lumber, grading to proper grade, construction of 6 ft concrete 30 sidewalks on curb line, construction of concrete curbs and gutters; 31 -1"
