ORDINANCE NO. 1.79 An ordinance providing for the opening up and establishing of an extension of Norton Avenue in the city of Everett, from the south line of Lot 1 in Section 7, of Township 29 North, of Range 5 East, W.M. to a point approximately 671.23 feet northerly there- from, as a public street and highway, over and across certain lots, blocks, tracts and parcels of land in the city of Everett, providing for the establishment and payment of the just compensa- tion to be made for the land and other property rights taken or damaged thereby, and providing the manner in which the cost and expense of said opening and establishing shall be made. WHEREAS, p.;.blic necessity demands that Norton Avenue be opened up and established as a public street and highway from the south line of Lot 1 in Section 7, of Township 29 North, Range 5 Fast, W.M. approximately 671.23 feet northerly thereof, and WHEREAS, it is determined that such opening up and estab- lishing of said street is a public necessity and that the same shall be of special benefit to certain lots, premises and other property, NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY OF 4VERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That Norton Avenue be and the same is hereby opened up and established as a public street and highway from the south line of Lot 1 of Section 7, of Township 29 North, of Range 5 East, T.M. a distance of approximately 671.23feet northerly thereof, over and across certain lots, blocks, tracts and parcels of land in said city of Everett, the said tracts being more par- ticularly described as follows, to-wit: "Beginning at the quarter section ccrner between Sections 7 and 8, of Townshib 29 North, Range 5 East, W.M.; thence west ar.ong the south line of Lot 1, said township and range 675.81 feet to the west line of the Northern pacific Railway Company's right-of-ray, the true point of beginning; thence angle right 123 degrees 44 minutes along the west line of the Northern Pacific
