June 25, 2025 <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 12:30 p.m., April 23, 2025, <br />by Vice President Zarlingo. <br /> <br />Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor Franklin and Council Members Zarlingo, Bader, Rhyne, <br />Fosse, and President Schwab were present. Council Members Vogeli and Tuohy were excused. <br /> <br />Council Member Zarlingo led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />Council Member Fosse recited the land acknowledgement. <br /> <br />The minutes of the June 18, 2025 meeting were approved. <br /> <br />Council Member Rhyne entered the council meeting at 12:33 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />Mayor Franklin had no update. <br /> <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />The Council received one (1) written comments, and the following member of the public spoke: <br />Mason Rutledge <br /> <br />Vice President Zarlingo introduced Shana Peschek to provide a presentation on the Machinists <br />Institute – Little Wings Daycare. <br /> <br /> <br />COUNCIL <br /> <br />Vice President Zarlingo expressed gratitude to city staff for their efforts on the Everett 2044 <br />Comprehensive Plan, attended the celebration of the 100th anniversary of Fire Station 2, <br />participated in the Pinehurst Beverly Park’s Ice Cream Social at Lion’s Park, and will be attending <br />the Building Bridges event tomorrow from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Member Bader attended the Council of Neighborhoods and the Association of <br />Washington Cities meeting. <br /> <br />Council Member Rhyne expressed gratitude to city staff for their efforts on the Everett 2044 <br />Comprehensive Plan, participated in Everett Pride, and reminded the public about the ongoing
