July 2, 2025 <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m., July 2, 2025, by <br />President Schwab. <br /> <br />Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor Franklin and Council Members Zarlingo, Fosse, Bader, <br />Rhyne, Tuohy, and President Schwab were present. Council Member Vogeli was excused. <br /> <br />Council Member Rhyne led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />Council Member Bader recited the land acknowledgement. <br /> <br />The minutes of the June 25, 2025, meeting were approved. <br /> <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />Mayor Franklin met with the Latino Civic Alliance. She also advised that she will be presenting an <br />ordinance for graffiti restitution in a few weeks, wished the public a happy 4th of July and <br />reminded the public of City sponsored events to celebrate the 4th of July. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENTS <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Zarlingo, seconded by Council Member Fosse, to concur with the <br />following appointments: <br /> <br /> Animal Shelter Advisory Board <br />• Skyler Haines, Pos #A2 – term expiring 12/31/2028 <br />• Chelle Graves, Pos #3 – term expiring 12/31/2027 <br />• Michelle Ward, Pos #5 – term expiring 12/31/2030 <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council Member Vogeli who was <br />excused. <br /> <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />The Council received no written comments and the following members of the public spoke: John <br />Van Dalen, Carole Morgan, and Daniel Dotson. <br /> <br />
