<br /> An ordinance approving and confirming the assessment and
<br /> assessment roll of Local Improvement District No. 299, for the
<br /> improvement of Chestnut street from Hewitt Avenue to Averett
<br /> Avenue , by removal of old lumber, sub-grading, construction of
<br /> cement walks, concrete curb and gutter, complete drainage system,
<br /> paving with asphalt upon a suitable concrete base, installation of
<br /> fire hydrants; and for the improvement of Chestnut Street from
<br /> .verett Avenue to Twenty-third Street, by clearing and grubbing,
<br /> removal of old lumber, grading, construction of cement walks, curbs ,
<br /> gutter, plank cross walks , complete drainage system, installation
<br /> of fire hydrants , and doing other work in connection therewith,
<br /> under Ordinance No. 1577 of the city of . verett, passed March 3,
<br /> 1914, and laving an assessment on account thereof against the sever-
<br /> al lots, tracts and parcels of land as shown on said roll, fixing a
<br /> date for the issuance of bonds, and providing for the issuance of
<br /> said bonds.

<br /> Section 1: That the assessment and assessment roll of
<br /> Local Improvement District No. 299, for the improvement of Chestnut
<br /> Street from Hewitt Avenue to . verett Avenue, by removal of old
<br /> lumber, sub-grading, construction of cement walks, concrete curb
<br /> and gutter, complete drainage system, paving with asphalt upon a
<br /> suitable concrete base, installation of fire hydrants; and for the
<br /> improvement of Chestnut Street from . verett Avenue to Twenty-third
