R TT DO.2S ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: No person shall engage in the business of <br /> auctioneer without ,,,,, ,ic nke therefor, issued by the city of Averett, <br /> and sucpell1 be issue to the applicant therefor by the <br /> IS 4C 'N^Nail?�MKitfi'_+'W.'1� <br /> city el upon receipt of the city treasurer showing payment of the <br /> wn153 'y1ie14eFtii4M+ 471Yu <br /> fee h#reinaft r requ ,. ae, a'n,a s oh license shall designate the <br /> + ,. ram' <br /> class of auctiT er `—an$ t e„,time to ruirr : <br /> bectiorf Anyson Ilin ` r attempt ell any <br /> kind of personal property at publicpublic liaMpri shall be deemed an <br /> auctioneer, excepting, however, executive or other officers selling <br /> goods by virtue of any judgment or decree of any court, and executors, <br /> administrators or hawkers making public sales. <br /> Section 3: Any parson offering for sale at public auction <br /> any clothing, boots , shoes, drygoods , or any goods, wares or merchan- <br /> dise not otherwise mentioned herein, shall be deemed an auctioneer <br /> of the first class, and shall pay a license fee of ten (510) dollars <br /> for any period of one week or less , or twenty-five (425) dollars for <br /> three months , or sixty ($60) dollars for six months. <br /> Persons offering for sale at public auction second hand <br /> household goods , live stock of any kind, carriages , wagons, farming <br /> utensils of any kind, shall be deemed auctioneers of the second <br /> class and shall pay a license fee of ten ($10) dollars for any <br /> period not exceeding one week, or twenty-five (425) dollars per <br /> annum. <br /> Section 4: In case a company is engaged in such business, <br /> it shall procure a license for each of its employees carrying on <br /> such business. <br />
