ORDINANCA NO. \,Z . <br /> An ordinance approving and confirming the assessment and <br /> assessment roll of "Local Improvement District No. 289" , for the <br /> improvement of Broadway from the north line of Hewitt Avenue to the <br /> south curb line of Sixteenth Street, by the removal of old lumber, <br /> grading, construction of concrete curbs , concrete gutters, cement <br /> walks , asphalt pavement, pavement header, concrete bulkhead, plank <br /> walk, construction of a complete drainage system, raking and seeding <br /> of parks and parking strips, construction of sewer extensions with <br /> all necessary appurtenances , making old work conform Edith new, and <br /> doing such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith, <br /> under Ordinance No. 1512, and levying an assessment on account there. <br /> of against the several lots , tracts and parcels of land as shown on <br /> said roll, fixing a date for the issuance of bonds , and providing for <br /> the sale of said bonds. <br /> THE; CITY OF AVV,RATT DOTS ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That the assessment and assessment roll of <br /> "Local Improvement District No. 289" ,for the improvement of Broadway <br /> from the north line of Hewitt Avenue to the south curb line of Six- <br /> teenth Street by the removal of old lumber, grading, construction of <br /> ccncrete curbs , concrete gutters, cement walks, asphalt pavement, <br /> pavement header, concrete bulkhead, plank walk, construction of a <br /> complete drainage system, raking and seeding of parks and parking <br /> strips , construction of sewer extensions with all necessary appurten- <br /> ances, making old work conform with new, and doing such other work <br /> as may be necessary in connection therewith under Ordinance No. <br /> 1512 as the same now stands, be and the same is hereby in all things <br /> approved and confirmed. <br /> Section 2: That each of said lots, tracts and parcels <br />
