March 18, 2026 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:32 p.m., March 18, 2026, <br />by President Schwab. <br /> <br />Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor Franklin and Council Members Zarlingo, Burbano, Tuohy, <br />Bader, Rhyne, and President Schwab were present. Council Member Bader was excused. <br /> <br />Council Member Burbano led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />Council Member Zarlingo recited the land acknowledgement. <br /> <br />President Schwab said Consent Item No. 3 has been moved to Action Items. <br /> <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />Mayor Franklin reported on her attendance on her trips to Washington D.C. for Mayor’s College, <br />National League of Cities, and on her attendance at the Sound Transit Board retreat in Tacoma. <br /> <br /> <br />APPOINTMENTS <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Tuohy, seconded by Council Member Rhyne, to concur with the <br />following appointments: <br /> <br /> Historical Commission <br />• Brooke Eidem, Pos #5 – term expiring 12/31/2027 <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except for Council Member Bader who was <br />excused. <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />The minutes of the March 11, 2026, meeting were approved. <br /> <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />
