<br /> An ordinance fixing and determining the number and desig-
<br /> nation of the various officers , assistants , deputies , and

<br /> ,' employees of the of Everett,t, pre�ca bin the duties of such
<br /> officers , assistants, deputies and employees , except -ohere the
<br /> same has been fixed by the City Charter or ordinances of the City
<br /> of Everett, and declaring an emergency.
<br /> 1 THE CITY OF EVEFETT DOES ORDAIN:
<br /> Section 1. There shall be a stenographer to the commission-
<br /> ers , and it shall be his duty to perform such work as any of the
<br /> commissioners shall direct.
<br /> Section 2. Thera shall be a janitor, and it shall be his
<br /> 1'
<br /> :4 duty to perform the janitor service relating to the City Hall,
<br /> 7 and such other duties as any of the commissioners may direct.

<br /> V:,.- Section 3. There shall be in the office of the city
<br /> attorney, the following named assistant, to-wit: one clerk.
<br /> " ; It shall be the duty of said clerk to perform such duties in
