June 17, 2026 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m., June 17, 2026, <br />by President Schwab. <br /> <br />Upon roll call, it was found that Council Members Weir, Zarlingo, Burbano, Tuohy, Bader, and <br />President Schwab were present. Mayor Franklin and Vice President Rhyne were excused. <br /> <br />Council Member Bader led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />Council Member Weir recited the land acknowledgement. <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />Mayor Franklin was excused. <br /> <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />The minutes of the June 10, 2026, meeting were approved. <br /> <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />The following members of the public spoke: William Parent, John Van Dalen, Dustin Graves, <br />Reese Graves, Dottie Meddic, Linda Park, Janean Desmarias, Daryle Sullivan, Richard Breunissen, <br />Shari Ireton, and Mina Akladious. <br /> <br /> <br />COUNCIL <br /> <br />Several Council Members thanked the public commenters. <br /> <br />Council Member Weir congratulated the Everett Community College and Washington State <br />University Everett Campus graduates, provided attendance updates on Sorticulture and the most <br />recent FIFA watch parties, reminded the public about the FIFA watch parties, and stated June 20 <br />is the Pride Block Party. <br /> <br />Council Member Zarlingo reported on his attendance at the Pinehurst-Beverly Park <br />Neighborhood Association and Valleyview Neighborhood Association meetings, the Regional Law <br />and Justice Council meeting and the Puget Sound Regional Council’s Transportation Policy Board. <br />
