April 15, 2015 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 <br /> p.m., April 15, 2015 in the City Council Chambers of the William E. Moore <br /> Historic City Hall, Vice President Murphy presiding. Upon roll call it was <br /> found that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members Roberts, Moore, <br /> Murphy, Gipson, Stonecipher, and Tuohy were present. Council Member <br /> Bader was excused. <br /> Council Member Gipson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the April 8, 2015, City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephanson gave a brief legislative update. <br /> Vice President Murphy noted that agenda item no. 8, the proposed <br /> surplus and transfer of a portion of utilities-owned real property to <br /> Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway Company, and no. 13, a proposed <br /> ordinance prohibiting certain conduct in rights of way, had been pulled <br /> from the agenda. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Stonecipher reported on her attendance at the Parks <br /> Board Commissioners meeting. <br /> Council Member Roberts stated that he attended an Arbor Day <br /> celebration on behalf of Mayor Stephanson. <br /> Council Member Moore reported on his attendance at the Public Facilities <br /> District meeting. He remarked that the PFD Board discussed options for <br /> replacement of their scoreboard. Council Member Moore stated that it will <br /> be important for the City Council to act on this issue in the next week or <br /> two to hit the timeline that the manufacturer needs to have a contract in <br /> place in early May. <br /> 99 <br />
