� y <br /> RESOLUTION NO 4899 <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing application for 2000 <br /> Community Development Block Grant Funds, the 2000—2004 Consolidated Plan <br /> and 2000 Action Plan to the <br /> Department of Housing and Urban Development <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett recognized the need for certain housing and <br /> community development programs in Everett; and <br /> WHEREAS, funds have been made available through the Department of Housing and Urban <br /> Development to provide for those programs and Everett is entitled to receive $930,000.00 in 2000; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, unspent funds in the amount of funds are available to reallocate to other programs this <br /> year, and <br /> WHEREAS, the Citizens Advisory Committee for Housing and Community Development has <br /> studied the housing and community development needs and priorities of Everett and has made its <br /> recommendations for 2000 Community Development Block Grant funds; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett has reviewed the recommendations of the above <br /> committee, and <br /> WHEREAS, the 2000 —2004 Consolidated Plan and 2000 Annual Action Plan has been put together <br /> in cooperation with the Everett Housing Authority and other non profit service providers; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> EVERETT THAT: <br /> I. Projects to be Funded in 2000 <br /> Public Service Funding <br /> 1. Volunteers of America $12,000.00 <br /> Family and Children's Services <br /> 2. Volunteers of America $12,000.00 <br /> Rental Housing Mediation Service <br /> 3. Center for Battered Women $19,000.00 <br /> Domestic Violence Services <br /> 4. Camp Fire $2,500.00 <br /> Campships <br />
