RESOLUTION NO. 6375 <br /> EL/& ETT <br /> A RESOLUTION waiving public bidding requirements and approving a sole source <br /> purchase of Biosorbens engineered filter media from Biorem Technologies, <br /> Inc/Treatment Equipment Company <br /> WHEREAS, the City has established requirements for performance and installed life of <br /> odor control filter media at the Water Pollution Control Facility; and <br /> WHEREAS, Biosorbens filter media from Biorem Technologies, Inc is the only product <br /> to meet these requirements; and <br /> WHEREAS, Biosorbens is only available from Biorems Technologies through its local <br /> distributor, Treatment Equipment Corporation; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Everett that <br /> because there is clearly and legitimately only one source capable of supplying Biosorbens <br /> filter media; the City hereby waives competitive bidding requirements and authorizes the <br /> purchase of Biosorbens from Biorem Technologies, Inc/Treatment Equipment Company. <br /> Co rson Introducing Resolution <br /> PASSED and APPROVED this 27th day of April ,2011 <br /> Af <br /> Council - ide• <br />
