e <br /> Ofr <br /> 1 RESOLUTION NO. 3;:24;6 <br /> 2 <br /> 3 A RESOLUTION adopting Findings and Conclusions denying <br /> Wilson's contract rezone request, No. 4-89. <br /> 4 <br /> 5 WHEREAS, the City Council finds that an application was received by the <br /> 6 City of Everett on March 3, 1989, by Howard 0. Wilson, Wilson Investments, <br /> 7 1110 N. 175th Street, No. 220, Seattle, Washington 98133. Mr. Wilson was <br /> 8 requesting the rezone of two existing apartment structures located at 1814 <br /> 9 60th Street S.E. and 6010 Colby Avenue, Everett, from R-1 Single Family Low <br /> 10 Density Residential Zone to R-3 Multiple Family Low Density Residential <br /> 11 Zone; and <br /> 12 WHEREAS, the City Council finds that after due notice, public hearings <br /> 13 were held on May 25 and August 8, 1989, before the City's Land Use Hearing <br /> 14 Examiner and after due consideration of the evidence presented by the <br /> 15 applicant and others during the public hearing and as a result of personal <br /> 16 inspection of the subject property and surrounding areas by the Hearing <br /> 17 Examiner, the Hearing Examiner entered Findings of Fact and Conclusions <br /> 18 which recommended the rezone of the property subject to a concomitant <br /> 19 agreement; and <br /> 20 WHEREAS, the CityCouncil finds that after due notice, a <br /> public hearing <br /> 21 was held on November 5, 1989, before the Everett City Council to consider <br /> 22 the recommendations of the Hearing Examiner, to take testimony from the <br /> 23 applicant and from neighboring property owners and their attorney; <br /> 24 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> 25 EVERETT that: <br /> 26 FINDINGS <br /> 27 The rezone request is for a rezone of property currently zoned R-1 <br /> 28 Single Family Low Density Residential to R-3 Multiple Family Low Density <br /> 29 Residential . The comprehensive plan designates the subject property for <br /> 30 Multiple Family Residential , 15 to 25 dwelling units per acre. The <br /> 31 surrounding zoning/land uses are as follows: North: R-1/Golf course; <br /> 32 <br />
