• l t a ORDINANCE NO. 1729-90 AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 1671-89, also known as the Everett Zoning Code. WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Ordinance 1671-89 , which supreseded the previous zoning code and established new zoning regulations for the City of Everett, on December 28, 1989; and WHEREAS, the City Council , in its adoption of Ordinance 1671-89 directed the Planning and Community Development Department to keep the zoning code up to date; and WHEREAS, the City Council realized, during its consideration of Ordinance 1671-89, that there would undoubtedly be certain revisions which would be required after adoption of the code, due to its size and comprehensive revision to the prior code; and WHEREAS, there are certain amendments required to correct errors, omissions and sections of the ordinance; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing to consider the proposed amendments to the zoning code and has recommended that the City Council approve the amendments; and WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on June 27 , 1990 to consider the proposed Ordinance, and remanded the amendments to the Planning Commission asking the Commission to remove the section entitled "Zoning of Annexations" ; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on July 24 , 1990 to consider this request and did remove the section entitled "Zoning of Annexations" . NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN:
