/IP <br /> h <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 3003-07 <br /> An Ordinance Amending the City's Local Project Review Procedures, <br /> Section 2(A) of Chapter 4 of Ordinance No. 2530-01 (EMC 15.16.040), and Section <br /> 3(B) of Chapter 4 of Ordinance No. 2530-01 (EMC 15.16.080), as amended by <br /> Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2719-03, <br /> Pertaining to Administrative and Planning Director Determinations. <br /> WHEREAS, the City did adopt the Local Project Review Procedures (EMC Title 15) in <br /> 2001 to establish a comprehensive set of procedures for the processing of land use <br /> permits and actions; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City has identified amendments to the City's Local Project Review <br /> Procedures (EMC Title 15) necessary to provide clarity and effective administration of <br /> the City's land use procedures; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the amendments to the City's Local Project <br /> Review Procedures (EMC Title 15) promote the best long term interests of the Everett <br /> community. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1. Section 2(A) of Chapter 4 of Ordinance No. 2530-01 (EMC 15.16.040), <br /> which reads as follows: <br /> Applicability. Review Process I applies to permit applications that involve minor <br /> administrative land use decisions. The focus of minor administrative review is code <br /> compliance verification. Review Process I applications shall be reviewed administratively <br /> by the planning department staff to determine compliance with the city's zoning code and <br /> other applicable ordinances and regulations. If a Review Process I application is not <br /> categorically exempt under SEPA, the application shall be processed under Review <br /> Process II. <br /> Is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> Applicability.
