41' ,mss • • • L ORDINANCE NO. meq/7 1 AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of the Plat of Evergreen Glen by the construction of a concrete 2 sanitary sewer and necessary appurtenances to make a complete improvement, all in accordance with plans 3 prepared by the City Engineer , creating a Local Im- provement District Fund therefore , and providing for 4 the payment for such improvement by special assessment on the property in said district under the mode of 5 payment by bonds or installment notes . 6 WHEREAS , by petition filed with the City Clerk of the City of Everett, a majority of the property owners under 7 the provisions of RCW 35 .43. 120 within the district in the title above-described have petitioned for construction of 8 certain public works and have set forth and met all require- ments for petitioning construction of said public works , 9 and, 10 WHEREAS , the Council of the City of Everett finds such matters set forth in said petition to be true, and, 11 WHEREAS , the City Council held a hearing on May 23, 12 1973 , following advertisement and public notice of the pro- posed improvement and thereafter directed that an ordinance 13 be presented, 14 NOW, THEREFORE , THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN, 15 Section 1 : The City Council of the City of Everett finds and declares that the improvements hereinafter des- 16 cribed are in the public interest and hereby direct its construction. 17 Section 2 : THAT AN IMPROVEMENT BE MADE OF : 18 West Glen Drive , from approximately the East line of 19 Lot 10 Westerly and Northerly to approximately the East line of Lot 50 , Plat of Evergreen Glen, and, 20 East Glen Drive, from approximately the West line of 21 Lot 31 Easterly and Southerly to approximately the West line of Lot 40 of said plat. 22 By the installation of 8" concrete sanitary sewer 23 system and necessary appurtenances; said system to include all incidental material and work necessary 24 for a complete improvement, the street will be fin- ished by a 24-foot-wide asphalt overlay, and, 25 The Easterly portion of the Northwest quarter of 26 the Northeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 12, Township 28 North, Range 4 East, W.M. , 27 from Lot 28 , Plat of Evergreen Glen to 74th Street Southwest, existing manhole, trunk sewer line. 28 By the installation of 8" concrete sanitary sewer 29 gravity lateral line and necessary appurtenances; said system to include all incidental material and 30 work necessary for a complete improvement, and, 31 All of the aforesaid improvements shall be in accord- ance with plans prepared by the City Engineer , which plans 32 and specifications are hereby adopted and approved.
