City of Everett Everpark Garage Repairs Addendum No. 3 EVERETT WASHINGTON / 1 ADDENDUM NO. 3 I' ' TO EVERPARK GARAGE REPAIRS #2018-034 ' June 20, 2019 ' NOTICE TO BIDDERS Addendum No. 3 contains the following revisions, additions, deletions and classifications and is hereby made a part of the contract documents for the above named Project and shall be considered by all prospective bidders in submitting bids. ' Bidders must acknowledge receipt of addendum No.3 in the space provided on page section 00 4113-2 in the Bid Form. Failure to comply with this requirement may render the Bid non- responsive and may cause rejection. This Addendum No.3 consist of 5 pages, including all revisions, attachments. ' SPECIFICATIONS, PROPOSAL AND CONTRACT DOCUMENTS ITEM 1—General Note C on A1.11 requires sealing around all penetrations at fire rated walls. Is ' this just for new piping or does this include any existing piping that does not currently have firestopping? Response: There are no fire-rated walls. The note is not required for this project. ITEM 2—General Note D on A1.11 states "Restripe existing parking lines and stall numbers on ' all above grade levels". The Summary of Work (01 1100, A) states to only stripe the top deck. Please verify which is correct. ' Response: Parking stripes, including stall numbers, are to be repainted at the upper deck. Existing striping and stall numbers are to remain at other levels. ' ITEM 3—The General Structural Notes, under FRP MATERIALS, requires that raw samples and MSDS of all materials used in the FRP system are submitted to Evergreen State College for review and approval prior to construction. Is this review of the materials considered part of the ' construction schedule? How long will this review take? Is the owner responsible for the costs? Page 1 of 5
