' City of Everett 00 1113 - 1 <br /> Diversion Dam Road Project Phase 3 UT 3707 & UT 3708 <br /> ' CITY OF EVERETT, WASHINGTON <br /> SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br /> DIVERSION DAM ROAD PHASE 3 <br /> ' WO NO. — UT 3707 & UT 3708 <br /> NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS <br /> ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br /> ' Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the DIVERSION DAM ROAD PHASE 3 will be received at the office of <br /> the City Clerk, 1st Floor Wall Street Building, 2930 Wetmore, Everett, Washington 98201, until 2:00 p.m. on <br /> Tuesday, June 25, 2019. At the appointed time, all bids will be opened and publicly read aloud in an assigned <br /> conference room on the 8th floor of the Wall Street Building. The engineer's estimate for this Project is$385,000. <br /> ' Work being performed includes, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to <br /> blast, crush and stockpile 500 LF of cliff face, replace a culvert while realigning a logging style road, and other <br /> such appurtenances and performing all Work as required by the Contract, in accordance with the Contract Plans <br /> ' and Contract Provisions. <br /> Free-of-charge access to project bid documents (plans, specifications, addenda, and Bidders List) is provided to <br /> Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors by going to www.bxwa.com and clicking on "Posted Projects", <br /> "Public Works", and "City of Everett". This online plan room provides Bidders with fully usable online documents <br /> ' with the ability to: download, view, print, order full/partial plan sets from numerous reprographic sources, and a <br /> free online digitizer/take-off tool. It is recommended that Bidders "Register" in order to receive automatic e-mail <br /> notification of future addenda and to place themselves on the"Self-Registered Bidders List". Bidders that do not <br /> register will not be automatically notified of addenda and will need to periodically check the on-line plan room for <br /> addenda issued on this project. Contact Builders Exchange of Washington at(425)258-1303 should you require <br /> assistance with access or registration. <br /> All bids must be made upon the regular forms provided for this purpose and must be accompanied by a bid bond <br /> ' or certified check in an amount not less than five percent(5%) of the total amount of the Bid. <br /> The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities. No Bidder <br /> may withdraw his Bid after the hour set for the opening thereof. The City further reserves the right to make the <br /> bid award as deemed in the best interest of the City. The right is reserved by the City to postpone the award for <br /> a period of forty-five (45) days after bid opening. <br /> Two pre-bid walk-throughs are scheduled at 1:00 a.m., Tuesday', June 11, 2019 and at 9:00p.m., Tuesday, <br /> June 18, 2019. It is MANDATORY for bidders to attend at least one pre-bid walk through. Bidders will meet <br /> at the City of Everett Water Filtration Plant, 6133 Lake Chaplain Road, Monroe, WA. Once bidders are assembled <br /> we will travel to the construction site on the Diversion Dam Road.
