Dry Type Transformer Manufacturer: <br /> a. Asea Brown Boveri, VPI <br /> 3. Medium Voltage Switchgear: <br /> a. Asea Brown Boveri . <br /> 1.05 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING <br /> A. Ship medium voltage switchgear as a complete unit except limit shipping sections as <br /> required for the existing building constraints. Include materials and components <br /> necessary for installation and operation. Circuit breakers may be shipped in separate <br /> protective cartons. <br /> B. Crate or otherwise protect from damage suitable for extended storage all shipped items. <br /> C. Substation shall be shipped to the site as designated by the contractor. <br /> 1.06 SPARE PARTS AND TOOLS <br /> A. Furnish a list of all available and recommended spare parts, including the unit price of <br /> each if a spare parts order is placed at the time of the substation order. The list shall at <br /> minimum include the following: <br /> 1. Ten (10) lamps and two (2) of each color of lamp caps for all types of indicating lights <br /> used in the switchgear. <br /> 2. Four(4)of each type and size of low voltage fuses used in the unit substation. <br /> 3. One (1)transformer cooling fan. <br /> 4. One (1) can of touch up paint. <br /> 5. Two (2) capacitor trip devices. <br /> B. Spare parts shall be furnished packaged in one or more boxes suitable for long term <br /> storage. Identification shall be placed on the outside of the boxes listing the contents. <br /> Identification shall include a part description, manufacturer's part number, and quantity <br /> provided. <br /> C. The Supplier shall furnish all special tools and appliances that are required for operation <br /> and maintenance of the switchgear and breakers. The following are required as a <br /> minimum. <br /> 1. Lifting yokes for each size of breaker provided. <br /> 2. Cranks for operating the breaker lift mechanism. <br /> 3. Levering wrenches for breaker positioning. <br /> 4. Sets of special tools required for proper maintenance, testing, and inspection of <br /> breaker and switchgear. <br /> 1.07 WARRANTY REQUIREMENTS <br /> A. Submit written guarantee from the actual equipment manufacturer that all equipment, <br /> materials and workmanship that prove defective or are discovered not to be in <br /> compliance with the specification requirements within 1 year after date of acceptance,will <br /> 2611 16 -4 <br /> (07/15/18) <br />
