The detail <br /> appears to be for a one-hour wall however and the project requires a two-hour wall <br /> assembly. Section R302.2 <br /> a) Detail 3a/A4.2 has been revised to reflect the requirement of a 2-Hr wall assembly <br /> 2.The roof of the upper unit at the building offset (two-hour wall) is shown to be less than 30" <br /> above the lower roof. The wall continuing above the lower unit to the underside of the roof <br /> of the upper unit should be shown to be of not less than one-hour construction (5/8" gyp <br /> sheathing should be shown on exterior side of the attic wall at the step roof condition). <br /> Section R302.2.2. <br />
