• <br /> • • 1. Minimum improvements shall include the following: <br /> a. Clearing: All rights-of-way shall have all standing timber <br /> and brush removed from the rights-of-way and all stumps, <br /> down timber, and snags cleared and removed within the <br /> confines of said rights-of-w ay; <br /> b. Grubbing: All rights-of�way shall be grubbed by the <br /> removal of all large rocks, roots, snags, logs, brush <br /> etc. , upon the surface of the ground and refilling of all <br /> excavations and holes left by said removal within the <br /> confines of said rights-of-way; <br /> c. Grading and surfacing: All rights-of-way shall be graded <br /> according to the profile established within their confines, <br /> adequately crowned, and surfaced with materials as herein <br /> provided, the width of minimum design standards. All <br /> surfacing shall be either asphaltic or P. C. concrete pave- <br /> ment, placed on a suitable gravel base. Thickness of <br /> pavement and gravel base to be stipulated by the City Engineer, <br /> after the classification and function of the proposed street has <br /> been determined. Poured P. C. concrete curbs and gutters <br /> or extruded P. C. concrete curbs shall be constructed on all <br /> streets; stormwater inlets and/or catch basins with <br /> sufficient drain tile shall be placed where stipulated by the <br /> City Engineer. Congrete sidewalks or suitable gravel, at <br /> least 4" thick, placed to sidewalk grade, shall be placed <br /> back of the curbs for a minimum of 5 feet in width on all <br /> collector and arterial streets. <br /> d. Drains: Metal, clay or concrete pipe drains across roads <br /> where required by the City Engineer and roadside ditches <br /> sufficient to carry normal runoff, irrigation waste, water <br /> of flood waters characteristic to the area included in the <br /> proposed plat; <br /> e. Culverts or Trestles: All culverts or trestles over water- <br /> ways, draws or gulches, when over four feet in height, shall <br /> conform to the City Engineer's specifications for pipe <br /> structures of the nature required and shall be provided with <br /> guard rails. Where streets or roads of the subdivision <br /> connect to or intersect existing roadways, there shall be <br /> installed drains of metal, clay or concrete pipes of not <br /> less than 12 inches diameter; <br /> (11) <br />
