• <br /> • <br /> f. Monuments: Monuments shall be placed at all street • <br /> intersections, boundary angle points, points, points of curves in <br /> streets, and at such intermediate points as shall be <br /> required by the City Engineer. All monuments shall be <br /> City of Everett Standard monuments. Street monuments <br /> shall be set between six inches and one foot below official <br /> finished street grades and in paved streets shall be <br /> enclosed in a standard monument case. Monuments shall <br /> be placed in an offset position from the center line of the <br /> street at the discretion of the City Engineer. <br /> g. Water System: The water distribution system design <br /> regarding location, depth, pipe diameters and materials <br /> shall be subject to approval by the City of Everett Water <br /> Superintendent and shall be installed either by the City of <br /> Everett Water Department or under the supervision of the <br /> Water Superintendent. All cost incurred is to be borne by <br /> the property benefited or paid directly by the subdivider. <br /> The number, sizes, types and location of fire hydrants <br /> shall be subject to approval by the Fire Chief of the City <br /> of Everett; <br /> h. Sanitary Sewer: The subdivision shall be provided with <br /> a complete sanitary sewer system. The sanitary system <br /> shall be designed and installed in accordance with the <br /> standards and under the supervision of the City Engineer. <br /> If a public sewer main is not available to the proposed <br /> subdivision, the subdivider shall obtain written approval <br /> from the Snohomish Health District to the effect that <br /> proposed lot sizes, soil conditions, topography, etc. , are <br /> suitable for septic tank installation. All tests, inspection <br /> and administrative cost shall be paid by the subdivider; <br /> i. Electrical Power, Telephone, Television Cable and Fire Alarm <br /> System: It is the intent of this provision to eliminate insofar <br /> as possible the installation of overhead wi res and of wire <br /> carrying poles within residential plats being henceforth <br /> developed under this Platting Ordinance. <br /> All plats or subdivisions being developed or proceeding.' as set <br /> forth under Section 4 of this Ordinance shall have all necessary <br /> power lines, telephone wires, television cables, fire alarm <br /> systems and other communications wires, cables or lines placed <br /> in underground location either by direct burial or by means of <br /> conduit or ducts and, with the exception of the city fire alarm <br /> system, providing service to each lot or potential building <br /> site in the plat. <br /> (12) <br />
