Monuments: Monuments shall be placed at all street • intersections, boundary angle points, points, points of curves in streets, and at such intermediate points as shall be required by the City Engineer. All monuments shall be City of Everett Standard monuments. Street monuments shall be set between six inches and one foot below official finished street grades and in paved streets shall be enclosed in a standard monument case. Monuments shall be placed in an offset position from the center line of the street at the discretion of the City Engineer. g. Water System: The water distribution system design regarding location, depth, pipe diameters and materials shall be subject to approval by the City of Everett Water Superintendent and shall be installed either by the City of Everett Water Department or under the supervision of the Water Superintendent. All cost incurred is to be borne by the property benefited or paid directly by the subdivider. The number, sizes, types and location of fire hydrants shall be subject to approval by the Fire Chief of the City of Everett; h. Sanitary Sewer: The subdivision shall be provided with a complete sanitary sewer system. The sanitary system shall be designed and installed in accordance with the standards and under the supervision of the City Engineer. If a public sewer main is not available to the proposed subdivision, the subdivider shall obtain written approval from the Snohomish Health District to the effect that proposed lot sizes, soil conditions, topography, etc. , are suitable for septic tank installation. All tests, inspection and administrative cost shall be paid by the subdivider; i. Electrical Power, Telephone, Television Cable and Fire Alarm System: It is the intent of this provision to eliminate insofar as possible the installation of overhead wi res and of wire carrying poles within residential plats being henceforth developed under this Platting Ordinance. All plats or subdivisions being developed or proceeding.' as set forth under Section 4 of this Ordinance shall have all necessary power lines, telephone wires, television cables, fire alarm systems and other communications wires, cables or lines placed in underground location either by direct burial or by means of conduit or ducts and, with the exception of the city fire alarm system, providing service to each lot or potential building site in the plat.
