• SECTION 6. Authorized Administrator. The authorized administrator . this ordinance shall be the City Engineer and he is delegated the administrative responsibilities contained herein. SECTION 7. Procedures, Standards, and Requirements. In the processing of plats, subdivisions, and dedications, the following procedures, standards, and requirements shall be complied with : A. Administrative Procedure: 1. The subdivider shall consult with the City Engineer and the Planning Director while the plat is still in sketch form. 2. The Proposed Plat (6 copies) and an application for Tentative Approval shall be prepared by the subdivider in accordance with the Requirements of the Proposed Plat. 3. The proposed plat and the application shall be submitted by the subdivider to the City Engineer at least thirty (30) days prior to the initial hearing, accompanied by a receipt from the City Treasurer indicating that the filing fee as per the following schedule has been paid. The filing fee shall be $5. 00 per lot for the first 25 lots; the next 25 lots, $3. 00 per lot; the re- maining lots in the proposed plat shall be $2. 00 per lot for a total maximum fee of $300. 00. 4. The City Engineer shall affix to the application a file number and the date it is received, and notify the Planning Director of the application. 5. Whenever any proposed plat is submitted to the City, the City Engineer shall at once cause, at the expense of the person proposing such plat, not less than three notices of a hearing thereof to be posted in conspicuous places, on or adjacent to the land proposed to be so platted or subdivided, giving notice to the time and place where such hearing is to be held, which notices shall be posted not less than seven days prior to the hearing thereof. 6. The Planning Director shall send by U.S. Mail, an announce- ment of the public hearing at least two weeks prior to the time of the public hearing to the owners, occupants, or persons residing thereon, of all contiguous properties within a dis- tance of 300 feet from any line of the proposed plat, subdivision, or dedication.
