Allows for uniform removal of the surface mortar. <br /> I 13 <br /> 14 If the Contractor proposes use of a retardant coating that is not listed in the <br /> 15 current WSDOT QPL, the Contractor shall submit a Type 2 Working Drawing <br /> I 16 consisting of a one quart product sample from a current lot along with supporting <br /> 17 product information, Safety Data Sheet, and a Manufacturer's Certificate of <br /> 18 Compliance stating that the product conforms to the above performance <br /> 19 requirements. <br /> II 20 <br /> 21 9-08.3(2)B Clear Sealer <br /> 22 The sealer for concrete surfaces with exposed aggregate finish shall be a clear, <br /> I 23 non-gloss, penetrating sealer of either a silane, siloxane, or silicone based <br /> 24 formulation. <br /> 25 <br /> 26 9-08.3(3) Permeon Treatment <br /> 27 Permeon treatment shall be a product of known consistent performance in producing <br /> 28 the SAE AMS Standard 595 Color No. 30219 target color hue established by WSDOT, <br /> 29 either selected from the WSDOT Qualified Products List (QPL), or an equivalent <br /> I 30 product accepted by the Engineer.
