Establish elevation bench marks and center or base line alignment control <br /> I <br /> 10 points for the mainline, one time only. Provide Right of Way stakes where <br /> 11 applicable. <br /> 12 2. Provide Rights-of-Way, easements or right-of-entry. <br /> I <br /> 13 3. Provide the Contractor with technical advice if requested. <br /> 14 4. Computed grades where needed. <br /> I 15 5. Horizontal and vertical curve detections. <br /> 16 6. One copy of transit notes showing reference to horizontal and vertical control <br /> 17 points. <br /> 18 <br /> I <br /> 19 BRIDGES AND OTHER STRUCTURES <br /> 20 <br /> 21 1. Centerline or offsets to centerline of the Structure. <br /> I22 2. Stations of abutments and pier centerlines. <br /> 23 3. A sufficient number of bench marks for levels to enable the Contractor to set <br /> 24 grades at reasonably short distances. <br /> I25 4. Monuments and control points as shown on the Drawings. <br /> 26 <br /> 27 The Contractor shall give the Contracting Agency 3 weeks notification to allow adequate <br /> I <br /> 28 time to provide the above data. <br /> 29 <br /> 30 The Contractor shall ensure a surveying accuracy within the following tolerances: <br /> I 31 <br /> 32 1. Slope stakes ±0.1 foot <br /> 33 2. Subgrade blue tops ±0.01 foot <br /> I34 3. Stationing ±0.01 foot <br /> 35 4. Alignment ±0.01 foot <br /> 36 5. Surfacing red & yellow tops ±0.01 foot <br /> 37 6. Superstructure elevations ±0.01 foot (from Plan elevations) <br /> I 38 <br /> 39 7. Substructure ±0.02 foot (from Plan elevations) <br /> 40 The Contractor shall slope stake the Roadway before any construction may proceed. <br /> I <br /> 41 Slope stakes shall be set at 50' maximum intervals on tangents and 25' on curves. <br /> 42 <br /> 43 Subgrade bluetops and surfacing red and yellow tops shall be set at 50' intervals in tangent <br /> I <br /> 44 sections, 25' intervals in curve sections, and 10' intervals in intersection radii. <br /> 45 <br /> 46 The Contractor's surveyor shall be a licensed surveyor in the State of Washington. The <br /> 47 Contractor shall keep updated survey field notes in a standard field book and in a format <br /> 111 <br /> 48 set by the Engineer.
