I 1 responsibility therefore and in no way will be held liable for any defects in the Work which I 2 may result from or be caused by use of such plan or method or Work. 3 I 4 1-05.19(2) Meetings with City 5 The Contractor shall have its duly authorized representative attend periodic informational 6 meetings with the City's Representative and City staff, as reasonably required by the City. t 7 8 The Contractor, City, and City's Representative shall meet as often as determined by the 9 City's Representative, but no less often than once each month. The purpose of the meeting I 10 is to review Project status in relation to the construction schedule; review value of Work 11 completed during the previous month; and, if applicable, review the Contractor's plans to 12 return Project status to that required by the schedule. If requested by the City or City's 13 Representative, the Contractor shall submit a written progress report within five (5) days 14 following this meeting, comprising: 15 16 1. The current construction schedule indicating percent complete, actual completion or I 17 start dates since the previous review, the estimated remaining duration for each 18 activity in progress, Schedule of Values update, and narrative summary. 19 2. Reasons any activities are behind schedule and the corrective steps being taken. t 20 21 1-05.19(3) Cooperation with Others 22 The Contractor agrees to permit entry to the site of the Work by the City, its employees or I 23 other Contractors performing Work on behalf of the City. The Contractor shall afford to the 24 City, other Contractors and their employees, reasonable facilities and cooperation and shall 25 arrange its Work and dispose of its materials in such a manner as to not interfere with the 26 activities of the City or of others upon the site of Work. The Contractor shall promptly make I 27 good any Contractor-caused injury or damage to persons or property that may be sustained 28 by other Contractors or employees of the City. The Contractor shall join its Work to that of 29 others and perform its Work in proper sequence in relation to that of others. I 30 31 If requested by the Contractor, the City will arrange meetings with other Contractors 32 performing Work on behalf of the City to plan coordination of construction activities. The 33 Contractor shall inform itself of the planned activities of other Contractors and will 34 coordinate its Work with the other Contractors. 35 36 The Contractor shall notify the City of problems, interference or any difficulty with other I 37 Contractors or workers engaged by the City. The Notice shall be sufficiently prompt and 38 specific so as to allow the City to mitigate or avoid increased costs, time of performance, 39 damages or injury. The Contractor's failure to provide such Notice in a timely way shall be ' 40 deemed a waiver and release of any and all Contract Claims relating to, arising out of, or 41 caused by, any alleged interference, difficulty or problem with another Contractor or worker 42 engaged by the City. I 43 44 1-05.20 Record Drawings 45 The New Section 1-05.20 is added as follows: 46 1 47 1-05.20(1) Description 48 This Section specifies the requirements for preparing Record Drawings.
