Debris or
7 contaminated sediment shall be disposed of in accordance with Section 2-03.3(7)C. Clean
8 sediments may be stabilized on-site using BMPs as allowed by the Engineer.
9
I
10 8-01.3(16) Removal
11 This section is revised to read:
12
I 13 The Contractor shall remove all temporary BMPs, all associated hardware and associated
14 accumulated sediment deposition from the project limits prior to Physical Completion unless
15 otherwise allowed by the Engineer. When the temporary BMP materials are made of natural
I
16
17 plant fibers unaltered by synthetic materials the Engineer may allow leaving the BMP in
place.
18
I19 The Contractor shall remove BMPs and associated hardware in a way that minimizes soil
20 disturbance. The Contractor shall permanently stabilize all bare and disturbed soil after
21 removal of BMPs. If the installation and use of the erosion control BMPs have compacted
22 or otherwise rendered the soil inhospitable to plant growth, such as construction entrances,
I 23 the Contractor shall take measures to rehabilitate the soil to facilitate plant growth. This
24 may include, but is not limited to, ripping the soil, incorporating soil amendments, or
25 seeding with the specified seed.
I 26
27 At the request of the Contractor and at the sole discretion of the Engineer the CSWGP may
28 be transferred back to the Contracting Agency. Approval of the Transfer of Coverage
29 request will require the following:
I30
31 1. All other Work required for Contract Completion has been completed.
32
I
33
34 2. All Work required for compliance with the CSWGP has been completed to the
maximum extent possible. This includes removal of BMPs that are no longer
35 needed and the site has undergone all Stabilization identified for meeting the
I
36
37 requirements of Final Stabilization in the CSWGP.
38 3. An Equitable Adjustment change order for the cost of Work that has not been
39 completed by the Contractor.
I 40
41 4. Submittal of the Washington State Department of Ecology Transfer of Coverage
42 form (Ecology form ECY 020-87a) to the Engineer.
I 43
44 If the Engineer approves the transfer of coverage back to the Contracting Agency, the
45 requirement in Section 1-07.5(3) for the Contractor's submittal of the Notice of Termination
I 46
47 form to the Washington State Department of Ecology will not apply.
48 8-01.4 Measurement
I49 This section's content is deleted and replaced with the following new subsections:
50
I City of EverettPage AM-81 Amendments
Everett Station 80 Stall Parking Expansion June 2019
