Payment under this item will be 10 made only when the Work is not already covered by other items. 11 I 12 "Topsoil Type ", per acre. 13 The unit Contract price per acre for "Topsoil Type " shall be full payment for all 14 costs for the specified Work. 15 16 "Fine Compost ", per acre or per square yard. 17 "Medium Compost", per acre or per square yard. 18 "Coarse Compost", per acre or per square yard. 19 The unit Contract price per acre for "Fine Compost", "Medium Compost" or "Coarse 20 Compost" shall be full pay for furnishing and spreading the compost onto the existing 21 soil. 22 23 "Soil Amendment", per acre. 24 The unit Contract price per acre for "Soil Amendment" shall be full pay for furnishing I 25 and incorporating the soil amendment into the existing soil. 26 27 "Plant Selection ", per each. 28 The unit Contract price for"Plant Selection ", per each shall be full pay for all Work 29 to perform the work as specified within the planting area prior to planting for weed 30 control, planting area preparation and installation of plants with initial watering. 31 I 32 As the plants that do not include plant establishment are obtained, propagated, and 33 grown, partial payments will be made as follows: 34 I 35 Payment of 15 percent of the unit Contract price per each when the plant 36 materials have been contracted, propagated, and are growing under nursery 37 conditions. The Contractor shall provide the Engineer with certification that the 38 plant material has been procured or contracted for delivery to the project for 39 planting within the time limits of the project. The certification shall state the 40 location, quantity, and size of all material. 41 I 42 Payment will be increased to 100 percent of the unit Contract price per each for 43 contracted plant material at the completion of the initial planting. 44 I 45 All partial payments shall be limited to the actual number of healthy vigorous 46 plants that meet the stage requirements, limited to plan quantity. Previous partial 47 payments made for materials rejected or missing will be deducted from future 48 payments due the Contractor.
