I <br /> 1 <br /> 2 DIVISION 1: GENERAL REQUIREMENTS <br /> 3 <br /> 4 DESCRIPTION OF WORK <br /> 5 <br /> 6 (March 13, 1995) , <br /> 7 This Contract provides for the improvement of***the City of Everett's designated north/south bicycle <br /> 8 route on Hoyt Ave between Pacific Ave and the Interurban Trail on 44th St SE at Colby Ave. This will <br /> 9 include: <br /> 111 <br /> 10 1) installing shared lane markings and signage on Hoyt.Ave between Pacific Avenue and 4151 St; <br /> 11 2) construction of a 10-foot to 11.5-foot wide mixed-used path on the north side of 41"between <br /> 12 Hoyt Ave and Colby Ave; <br /> 13 3) construction of approximately 112 linear feet of cement concrete modular block unit retaining <br /> 14 wall and galvanized steel pedestrian handrail at the back of the mixed-use path; <br /> 15 4) construction of six ADA compliant curb ramps crossing: <br /> 16 a. Hoyt on the northeast side of 41St St (one curb ramp); <br /> 17 b. Colby on the northwest side of 41St St (one curb ramp); <br /> 18 c. 41"St on the west side of Colby Ave (two curb ramps); <br /> 19 d. Colby on the south side of 41st St (two curb ramps); <br /> 20 5) installing signage between Colby Ave and 44 St SE at the entrance to the Interurban Trail*** <br /> 21 and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans,these Contract Provisions, and the <br /> 22 Standard Specifications. <br /> 23 <br /> 24 1-01 DEFINITIONS AND TERMS <br /> 25 <br /> 26 1-01.3 Definitions <br /> 27 (January 4, 2016 APWA GSP) <br /> 28 <br /> 29 Delete the heading Completion Dates and the three paragraphs that follow it, and replace them with <br /> 30 the following: <br /> 31 <br /> 32 Dates <br /> 33 Bid Opening Date <br /> 34 The date on which the Contracting Agency publicly opens and reads the Bids. <br /> 35 Award Date <br /> 36 The date of the formal decision of the Contracting Agency to accept the lowest responsible <br /> 37 and responsive Bidder for the Work. <br /> 38 Contract Execution Date <br /> 39 The date the Contracting Agency officially binds the Agency to the Contract.
