SALES TAX The above total amount of"Base Bid" and "Alternate Bids"(if any) do not include Washington State Sales Tax. The sales tax on taxable items will be added to the total contract price of the successful bidder. 2. OVERHEAD AND PROFIT "Base Bid" includes overhead, profit, performance and payment bonds, and all other expenses involved whatsoever. 3. TIME FOR COMPLETION Undersigned hereby agrees to begin work immediately after receiving Owner's letter of ' Notice to Proceed and to reach Substantial Completion within the dates required under the Contract Documents. In the event the project is not completed on or before required time periods, Bidder shall pay liquidated damages to the City as stated in the Contract (Section 005213). 4. The undersigned, as Bidder, declares that it will contract with the Owner using the Contract form provided herewith, on the terms and conditions contained herein, to do everything necessary for construction of the project complete. 5.
