Seattle,Washington
MO
m MT 206.522.9510 m
TURNING VISIONS INTO REALITY
The C-SWPPP details these elements and provides direction to the contractor regarding
implementation of BMPs for each.
Construction Sequence and Procedure
111 The proposed development includes a temporary erosion/sedimentation control plan
designed to prevent sediment-laden run-off from leaving the site during construction. The
erosion potential of the site is influenced by four major factors: soil characteristics,
vegetative cover, topography, and climate. Erosion/sedimentation control is achieved by a
combination of structural measures, cover measures, and construction practices that are
tailored to fit the specific site.
Prior to the start of any grading activity upon the site, all erosion control measures,
including installation of a stabilized constriction entrance, shall be installed in accordance
with the construction documents.
The best construction practice will be employed to properly clear and grade the site and to
schedule construction activities. The planned construction sequence for the construction
of the site is as follows, though is subject to change with the development of the project C-
SWPPP:
PHASE I:
1. Install stabilized construction exit(if applicable)and SWPPP Information Sign.
2. Install silt fence(s)and construction fence(s) on the site(as shown on the site map).
3. Prepare temporary parking and storage area.
4. Install appropriate inlet protection on existing storm drainage structures.
Halt all activities and contact the civil engineer to perform inspection and certification of BMPs.
General contractor shall schedule and conduct storm water pre-construction meeting with civil
engineer,construction manager,Agency(ies)and ground-disturbing contractors before proceeding
with construction.
All exceptions noted on the BMP Certification form must be added to the first Daily report as a
deficiency or deficiencies and resolved within 24-hours. BMPs CAN NOT be certified if any
exception requires greater than 24-hours to resolve.
Daily inspections and reporting must start the day of or immediately after BMP Certification.
5. Install additional BMPs including silt dikes, straw wattles, etc. as shown on the site map.
6. Demolish existing paving and foundations per the Demolition Plan, D-1.0
7. Begin grading the site.
8. Start construction of building pad and structures.
Phase II
1. Temporarily seed, denuded areas that will be inactive for 2 days or more during wet season
(October 1 -April 30)or 7 days or more during dry season (May 1 —Sept. 30).
2. Install utilities, storm sewers, curbs and gutters.
3. Install appropriate inlet protection at all storm sewer structures as each inlet structure is
installed.
4. Permanently stabilize areas to be vegetated as they are brought to final grade.
5. Prepare site for paving.
6. Pave site.
Everett Mall Plaza Parcel III Retail Expansion Stormwater Site Plan Page 13
