1 <br /> 1.8 Design and Prepare 60%Construction Documents (Phase I and Phase 2) <br /> Consultant will prepare 60% construction documents (Plans,specifications,and construction cost <br /> estimate).The previously prepared plans will be revised to a higher level of design completion, <br /> including preparing additional drawings/details,incorporating previous review comments,and <br /> assembling into two separate bid packages.Consultant will prepared specifications and cost <br /> estimates for the two construction bid packages. <br /> 1.8.1 Prepare General Information Plans (8 Drawings) <br /> The Consultant will prepare drawings for indicating general information relative to the project. <br /> • Drawings will include project title/number,vicinity map,drawing index;a project layout map <br /> and general project notes.The Consultant will establish and prepare survey control and traffic <br /> control drawings/supportive details within the project and surrounding street network to <br /> indicate local or restricted access requirements and controls,detour routes,and other <br /> miscellaneous controls. Consultant will prepare construction sequencing plans as a guide during <br /> bidding and construction of the work to define controls and/or limit the number of concurrent <br /> work areas. <br /> 1.8.2 Sanitary Sewer Replacement Plans (26 Drawings) <br /> The Consultant will revise the previous design plan and profiles and prepare additional <br /> supportive detail drawings.Drawings will indicate new sanitary sewer lines and grades;manhole <br /> locations and inverts;service connection locations;and other necessary details to support <br /> conventional trenching construction and trenchless rehabilitation construction methods,where <br /> determined. <br /> 1.8.3 New Storm Sewer Construction Plans (30 Drawings) <br /> The Consultant will revise the previous design plan and profiles and prepare additional drawings <br /> and supportive detail drawings.Drawings will indicate the replacement and/or new installation <br /> of structures and drainage pipes;installation of stormwater treatment facilities within the existing <br /> right-of-way;flow control,outfall structure connections,and details. <br /> 1.8.4 Site Demolition and Restoration Plans (38 Drawings) <br /> The Consultant will prepare plan drawings and supportive details necessary for site and roadway <br /> restoration required of proposed improvements.Drawings will depict limits of <br /> removal/replacement of driveways,sidewalks (including ramp reconstruction where necessary to <br /> meet ADA compliance);in-kind replacement of pavements;erosion control measures; <br /> replacement of pavement markings,and other miscellaneous reconstruction items required of <br /> sanitary and/or storm sewer construction. <br /> • <br /> Within public streets,restoration will generally specify trench patching.However for <br /> streets/intersections that contain multiple pipe installations,poor existing pavement conditions, <br /> Sewer System Replacement and Capacity Improvements Project 10 <br /> otak <br /> K\project\31500\31520\Contract\Amend4\AmendFouc\AmendmentFouv021413.docs <br /> 11 <br />
