1 <br /> • Individual house roof drains will remain connected to the sanitary sewer and no roof drain will <br /> be transferred to the new storm drainage system as a part of the project. <br /> • Stormwater treatment is provided through at-source type inlet structure and/or standard pre- <br /> manufactured structures located within existing right-of-way and no structural design and <br /> drawing preparation for vaults is required. <br /> • Design and preparation of 60%construction documents based on the"Full Separation"concept <br /> for separating stormwater for the project area. <br /> • City will provide Consultant with an electronic version(MS Word)of their current standard <br /> boilerplate project manual documents,including Instruction to Bidders;Bid Items,Contract,and <br /> other relative standard specifications/appendices sub-sections. <br /> • The City shall provide Consultant a consolidated set of written'review comments from all <br /> reviewers on a returned electronic form(MSWORD)provided by the Consultant. <br /> • Budget for preliminary design project meetings is based on the Consultant preparing for and <br /> attending a maximum of six(6)two-hour meetings to discuss design issues and/or review <br /> comments. <br /> • Labor and expense task level-of-effort budgets are estimates and consultant reserves the right to <br /> transfer unused task budgets to accomplish other service-task scope activities,if necessary,and <br /> only upon approval from the City. <br /> 2.0 Final Design - East Grand Improvements, Phase I <br /> The Consultant will design and prepare Final Plans,Specifications (project manual),and <br /> Construction Cost Estimates (PS&E documents).Interim documents will be submitted to the City <br /> at 90%,and 100%(Proof-set) for review and comment. <br /> 2.1 Prepare 90%Construction Plans, Phase <br /> The Consultant will revise the previously prepared construction plans to a higher level of design <br /> completion,including incorporating the comments from previous design submittal. <br /> 2.2 Prepare 90% Project Specifications, Phase I <br /> The Consultant will revise the previously prepared specification document to a higher level of design <br /> • <br /> completion,including incorporating the comments from the previous submittal. <br /> 2.3 Prepare 90%Construction Cost Estimate, Phase I <br /> The Consultant will revise the quantities and update the construction cost estimate.The <br /> construction cost estimate will include appropriate contingencies to reflect the level of design <br /> complete. <br /> 2.4 Submit and Respond to 90% Review Comments, Phase <br /> Consultant will assemble and submit documents for review and comment,including meeting with <br /> Sewer System Replacement and Capacity Improvements Project 13 <br /> otak <br /> K\project\31500\31520\Contract\Amend4\AmendFouz\AmendmentFout021413.docx <br /> 14 <br />
