1 • Budget for final design meetings based on Consultant preparing for and attending a maximum of three(3) two-hour meetings to discuss design issues and design review comments. • The City shall be responsiblefor leading the construction bid solicitation process. • The City shall be responsible for producing bidding documents and coordination/submittal documents to on-line plan center,if applicable. • Labor and expense task level-of-effort budgets are estimates and consultant reserves the right to transfer unused task budgets to accomplish other service-task scope activities,if necessary,and only upon approval from the City. 3.0 Final Design - East Grand Improvements, Phase 2 The Consultant will design and prepare Final Plans,Specifications (project manual),and Construction Cost Estimates (PS&F•documents).Interim documents will be submitted to the City at 90%,and 100%(Proof-set) for review and comment. • 3.1 Prepare 90%Construction Plans, Phase 2 The Consultant will revise the previously prepared construction plans to a higher level of design completion,including incorporating the comments from previous design submittal. 3.2 Prepare 90% Project Specifications, Phase 2 The Consultant will revise the previously prepared specification document to a higher level of design completion,including incorporating the comments from the previous submittal. 3.3 Prepare 90% Construction Cost Estimate, Phase 2 The Consultant will revise the quantities and update the construction cost estimate.The construction cost estimate will include appropriate contingencies to reflect the level of design complete. • • 3.4 Submit and Respond to 90% Review Comments, Phase 2 Consultant will assemble and submit documents for review and comment,including meeting with the City to discuss design aspects and details of the submittal.The City shall review and provide Consultant a consolidated set of written review comments from all reviewers on a returned electronic form provided by the Consultant.Consultant will subsequently evaluate the comments and provide the City with written response to each comment for clarification and concurrence. 3.5 Design and Prepare 100% PS&E Documents, Phase 2 The Consultant will visually examine the project site to verify that site conditions have not changed since the time of initial site survey and notify/discuss any significant findings which may have an impact on proposed improvements.The Consultant will prepare construction plans,specifications, and construction cost estimate by completing final design and incorporating comments from Sewer System Replacement and Capacity Improvements Project 16 otak K\project\31500\31520\Contract\Amend4\AmendFour\AmendmentFoui021413.docx 17
